Family constellations are based on a simple observation: we are influenced by our family system far more than we are consciously aware of.

Invisible loyalties, unresolved grief, trauma passed down from generation to generation — all of these factors shape our behaviour, our relationships and our choices, often without us realising it.

A constellation makes visible what is usually hidden, and opens up movement where something was blocked.

Family constellations can be helpful if:

  • You find yourself repeating the same patterns in your relationships without understanding why
  • You feel a family burden that is hard to put into words
  • You are going through a period of transition (separation, bereavement, life changes)
  • You feel as though you are carrying a burden that isn’t really yours
  • You wish to explore further a course of therapy you are already undertaking

individual or group sessions

Individual session
In an individual Family Constellation session, the client shares family background and issues they'd like to address.
Symbols or spatial arrangements are then used to represent family members, helping the client visualize family dynamics and discover unresolved emotions. This process can reveal issues like generational trauma that impact the client’s life, helping them understand and release emotional blocks. Individual sessions are personalized and ideal for those who prefer a private setting.

Group session
In a collective session, The client chooses participants to represent family members, and they are positioned in a way that reflects the relationships in the family. This setup often reveals hidden tensions or unresolved issues, giving the client a fresh perspective and space to heal.
The people chosen to represent family members often feel connected to the role they are playing, even if it’s surprising. Each person in the group gains insights as the session unfolds, making it a shared experience of growth.
